Abby Burnett, author of “Gone to the Grave,” will speak at the annual meeting of the Faulkner County Historical Society on Thursday, September 28 at 6:30 pm in Courtroom “A” of the Faulkner County Courthouse at 801 Locust St. in Conway. The new installation of the Springfield Bridge will be dedicated at Lake Beavorfork on Saturday, September 23 at 10:00 AM. Please park in the parking lot near the swimming area.
The Department of Arkansas Heritage along with the Black History Commission and the Arkansas State Archives will host a symposium on February 4 from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Mosaic Cultural Templar Center.
