- [Conway](https://www.faulknerhistory.org/communities/conway/) - When the Little Rock and Fort Smith Railroad was built through Faulkner County in 1871, there was a construction camp at the site of Conway, though it was not called Conway then. Colonel A.P. Robinson was the chief engineer
- [Springhill](https://www.faulknerhistory.org/communities/springhill/) - A small but ever-flowing spring on top of a hill in the area about eight miles north of Conway is credited as being the source of the name for Springhill
- [Guy](https://www.faulknerhistory.org/communities/guy/) - T.J. Rowlett moved into this area in 1848. W.W. Martin and the Gentry family moved in a little later, about 1865. Jacob Hartwick built a grist mill
