Celebrate WWI Anniversary with Conway Women’s Chorus

The Conway Women’s Chorus is hosting a very special production to celebrate the centennial anniversary of WWI on December 1st at 7:00 pm and December 2nd at 2:00 pm, both at Wesley United Methodist Church! This is a dinner theater presentation, and a meal will be provided based on popular dishes of the time period. The meal will be served 45 minutes prior to showtime (6:15 pm on December 1st and 1:15 pm on December 2nd).

Our WWI ensemble will present the first act by giving the audience a glimpse into the lives of those in the U.S. in 1917 and 1918 with popular music and costumes. Ensemble members will also share events of the time period and give special recognition to the women who “went to war.” The second act will include a short play based on O’Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi,” carolers from Julia Lee Moore Elementary under the direction of Bryan Cole, dancers from Irby Studio, and Christmas music of the period presented by the entire Chorus!
